This is the content of Official Letter 7717/BYT-DP of the Ministry of Health on strictly implementing the vaccination against COVID-19 vaccine.
Accordingly, the Ministry of Health received information that a number of vaccination facilities have given COVID-19 vaccines to children under 18 years of age and combined two types of vaccines that do not follow the instructions of the Ministry.
Therefore, the Ministry of Health proposes the Department of Health of the provinces and centrally-run cities to implement the following contents:
- Continue to direct vaccination establishments to organize vaccination for all cases aged 18 years and over as prescribed in Resolution 21/NQ-CP dated February 26, 2021 and Decision 3355/QD-BYT July 8, 2021.
Do not vaccinate for ages outside the guidance of the Ministry of Health, in case there is an adjustment in the age of vaccination against COVID-19, the Ministry of Health will provide the following instructions.
- Direct and guide the vaccination facility in the area to use a combination of 02 doses of COVID-19 vaccine according to the instructions in Official Letter 6030/BYT-DP dated July 27, 2021 and Official Letter 7548/BYT- DP on September 10, 2021.
If there are other ways to combine vaccines, the Ministry of Health will provide the following instructions.
